I never thought I would live to see the day you could walk into Tesco’s and pick up a magazine that came with a free computer. A free computer that was enclosed within the magazine, not one you had to send away for or make a separate purchase for, one that actually came inside the magazine cover.

And not only is that incredible, the size of the thing is even more of a jaw dropping experience. Here it is enclosed within the magazine it came with.

The computer in question here is the Raspberry PI Zero, it may not look like much but it is a fully fledged computer. It comes loaded with a 1GHz processor, 512mb of RAM, 2 x mini USB ports, 1 mini HDMI port and an SD card slot which is capable of storing the OS, (Raspbian)

Keep an eye open for future posts on this as we experiment and play around with them. Unfortunately we can’t use them yet as in the excitement we forgot to sort adaptors for the mini USB and HDMI ports.
